Antioch man in stable condition after shooting

A man unveiled shot in the arm in Antioch on Thursday was in stable condition at a hospital police explained According to an Antioch Police Department news release the victim is a -year-old man whom officers did not identify Police announced they responded to a released shooting about p m Thursday in the block of Crater Peak Way and discovered the man who d been shot at least once in the arm Police commented they were canvassing the area and had not identified a suspect Based on the initial analysis it appears to be an isolated occurrence the news release explained However the shooting comes on the heels of another in Antioch this week that left a woman in critical condition That shooting happened at about p m on Tuesday in the block of Delta Fair Boulevard Responding officers discovered a -year-old woman with at least one gunshot wound and she was taken by ambulance to a hospital Police circulated inadequate details but commented the matter is likely isolated as well
